Dr Keightley then moved to Alabama for a fellowship in Clinical and Laboratory Immunology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.

For five years Dr Keightley was on the faculty of the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology.

He then enjoyed a year in the
University of Hawaii program in Okinawa, Japan before entering private practice in Arizona in 1981.

Dr. Keightley is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board Of Pediatrics. He is a Member of the Maricopa Medical Society, the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.

Meet the Doctor

Dr Richard Keightley was born in Melbourne Australia, he grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. He graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 1968, worked as a House Surgeon in the Dunedin Public Hospitals and in the Hematology Department of Christchurch Public Hospital before coming to the United States for a Residency in Pediatrics at New York University/Bellvue.
